You can post images, using the [img] tag, even in places where the handy button is not present.

You can use the [img] tag almost anywhere.
However, the main place people would like to use it, is in the main page of their profile.
A profile with no images looks like this.

Begin by going to your profile.
Click on the Edit Profile button.

This will take you to the following page.

Click on Edit to the right.

This will open a new page where you can type in information.

Any image you want to show on RvB using the [img] tag must be hosted elsewhere.
If you do not know how to host an image, refer to the Hosting an Image tutorial.
Simply type [img] then the address of the hosted image and then [/img] as shown below.
Then click the Submit button.
Note: the address you see in this image is of an image hosted on my personal web space.
The address you use will look different.
